Where is Loreto and how do I get there?
Loreto is about 725 miles from the US border by car via Mexican Highway 1 or a 110 minute non-stop flight from LAX. On the east side of the Baja Penninsula between the Sea of Cortez and the Sierra La Giganta mountain range Loreto remains a friendly seaside town. One block from the Marina and swimming beaches with Palapas, and two blocks from the Mission, El Tiburon Casitas is centrally located on Calle Davis number 30 and an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and the beach.

Are rental cars available?
Budget and Hertz and Eurocar have offices in Loreto. Taxis are readily available to and from the airport which is 6 miles south of town. Unless you want to get out of Loreto, rental cars may not be neccessary if you like to walk. Bicycles also avail on site.

What airlines can get me there?
Alaska Air/ Horizon currently flies direct from LAX on Tues,Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday arriving around 2pm each day.
Check with your travel agent for other airlines servicing LTO international airport. The Terminal is just a few miles from the casitas. Taxis/vans are always standing by to bring you into town. |  |
